How to do When iPhone lost iPhone data after updating to iOS 11?

Some iPhone users feedback that they lost all photos and voicemail after updated iPhone to iOS 11. iOS11 installed perfectly and works great on their iPhone, but there are no photos in Photos app. Is there any solutions to rescue the lost iPhone data?

Most users have different scenarios for deleting data, if you have ever backed up iPhone data with iTunes or iCloud backup, it's very easy to get back your lost data. If you don't have any backup, it's still has a certain probability to recover them. Here are some solutions to rescue your lost iPhone data.


Restore from iTunes or iCloud backup


If you have an iCloud backup, Turn on your device. Tap Settings > General > Reset, then tap Erase All Content and Settings. You should see a Hello screen and select Restore from iCloud Backup, Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID and choose a backup. Stay connected and wait for a progress bar to appear and complete.

If you have an iTunes backup, Open iTunes on the Mac or PC that you used to back up your device. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. Then select Restore Backup in iTunes. Look at the date and size of each backup and pick the most relevant. Click Restore and wait for the restore time to finish.


After the restore process has completed, all your iPhone data will be erased and replaced by the backup data. If you only need part data of iPhone backup, such as photos or contacts. You need just export those iPhone data from the backup. Here we use iPhone data Recovery to complete it.

Step 1: Download iPhone Data Recovery on your computer.







Step 2: Connect your iPhone with the computer with USB cable and run the product. Choose "Recover from iTunes Backup", all your iTunes backup files will be displayed in the product. Select one for your iPhone and click "Start Scan" button.


Step 3: Preview all your iPhone data and select the right iPhone media files and information to save on the computer.



Recover iPhone data from iPhone device directly

If you don't have any iPhone backup, you can still recover the lost data from iPhone device directly. Connect your iPhone with the computer with USB cable and run the product. Choose "Recover from iOS Device" Mode, it will scan your iPhone device to find the iPhone data.


The scanning time depends on your iPhone storage and the deleted fragment. After the scanning has completed, you can save the result data to the computer.
